Farewell to British Coinage Collection
Last year the seven longest serving British coin designs were replaced. This is only the second time during the reign of Queen Elizabeth II that the coins of Britain have undergone a major design change - a landmark event in the history of British coinage
To commemorate such an historic event in British coinage, the Royal Mint have issued a very special set of seven sterling silver coins struck in shimmering Proof quality, the premier quality for collector coins.
The Farewell to British Coinage Collection also features all eight of the last-ever issues of the original coin designs of Queen Elizabeth II's reign, but with the Treasury trying to withdraw the predecimal coinage back in 1971, none of these coins were released into circulation.
Your collection will be housed in a superb presentation case along with an informative pamphlet and certificate of authenticity.
